Ingredients All purpose flour / Maida - 1 + 1/8 cup Egg - 1 (I took Duck egg) Baking Powder - 1/2 tsp Sugar - 1 cup ( can adjust according to your taste ) Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp Nutmeg powder - 1/8 tsp Oil - For frying Preparation In a bowl, mix maida, Cardamom, nutmeg, baking powders. Beat egg and sugar in another bowl. When it is slightly beaten, add the flour mixture to form a smooth dough like that of chapati.You can adjust the flour amount to get a smooth dough. Keep this dough for 40 minutes. When ready to fry, heat 2 cups of oil in a deep thick bottomed pan. Shape the dough into a log and press all the sides to get a long rectangular shape. Cut them into triangle pieces.Make a deep cut in the centre. Fry them in medium heat for 4 minutes, flipping them in between to ensure uniform cooking.
