Muffin
Muffin is similar to a cupcake in size and cooking methods.Muffin cups or cases are used in the baking of muffins for the easy removal of the finished muffin from the tin .Overmixing the batter can cause the muffins to be dry or hard.
Ingredients
- Butter - 100 g
- Flour - 100 g
- Castor Sugar - 100 g
- Egg - 1
- Vanilla Essence - 1tsp
- Baking Powder - 1 tsp
Preparation
- Sieve the flour and the baking powder.
- Cream the butter and the sugar till light and fluffy.
- Lightly beat the eggs.
- Fold in the sieved flour.
- Line the cupcake moulds with liners.
- Pour the batter in the cupcake moulds.
- Bake in preheated oven at 180 degree centigrade for 20 to 25 min.
