Butter Chicken Masala
Most of us are familiar with butter chicken masala because this is the dish we select for kids when we place an order in restaurants.This is kids all time favourite dish due to its less spiciness and taste.It is an Indian dish with chicken cooked in butter and rich creamy tomato sauce.Super delicious restaurant-style butter chicken that can be made easily at home with simple ingredients.
Ingredients
1 Chicken or boneless chicken pieces - 500 g
2 Onion - 1 big ( finely chopped)
3 Tomatoes - 3
4 Garlic paste - 3 tbsp
5 Ginger paste - 2 tbsp
6 Green chilly - 1
7 Fresh cream - 2 tbsp
8 Tomato sauce - 1 tbsp
9 Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tbsp
10 Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tbsp
11 Cumin seed powder - 1 tsp
12 Garam masala - 1 tsp
13 Kasoori methi - 1 tsp
14 Salt - to taste

2.Heat butter in a pan and roast chicken pieces on high flame till all masala covers the chicken pieces and water get dried up from this.
3.We don't have to cook chicken completely because it will cook in the gravy later.

4.Cool the chicken pieces and put them on skewers and place this in oven and grill for 10 minutes. You can also roast on high gas fire till black spots appear on them.
5.Heat oil in a pan and saute onions for 2 minutes.
6.Add tomatoes, green chillies and cook till tomatoes are soft and oil comes out from this.
7.Cool and grind this to a smooth paste.
8.Heat butter in a pan and add remaining ginger- garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes.
9. Add all dry powders and roast this on low flame for 2 minutes. Take care not to burn the masala and butter.
10.Add onion-tomato puree, kasoori methi, tomato sauce, fresh cream and mix well.
11.Add roasted chicken pieces and adjust water according to the gravy we need.
12.Cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
13.Garnish with fresh cream or coriander leaves.
14. Serve hot with chapati, Naan or Tandoor roti.
