Idiyappam


Ingredients
  1. Roasted rice flour   - 1.5 cups
  2. Water                      -  1 1/4 - 1 1/2 cups
  3. Salt                         -  to taste
 preparation

  1. Boil the water and add salt.
  2. Add this boiling water to rice flour gradually and knead this together to a smooth and soft dough. 
  3. The dough should not be too tight and sticky.
  4. Take small portions of dough and press each portion through idiyappam mould or idiyappam presser onto greased idli moulds.
  5. Steam for 7-9 minutes on medium flame.
  6. Keep the steamed idiyappam for a minute or two and transfer it to a serving plate.
