Paneer Butter Masala
Paneer recipes are all time favourite recipes for all age groups apart from the veg category it belongs to. Kids have always an inclination towards this recipe because of it’s rich creamy gravy made up of butter, onions & tomatoes.This is a simple recipe that can be made at home very easily and it tastes better than the restaurant made paneer butter because of the best ingredients we are using for making this.Try this healthy recipe at home and enjoy your meal.
Ingredients
1 Paneer - 300 g
2 Onion - 2 big ( finely chopped)
3 Tomatoes - 3 Medium sized (finely chopped)
4 Ginger - garlic paste - 3 tbsp
5 Green chilly - 3
6 Fresh cream - 2 tbsp
7 Tomato sauce - 1 tbsp
8 Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tbsp
9 Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tbsp
10 Cumin seed powder - 1 tsp
11 Garam masala - 1 tsp
12 Kasoori methi - 1 tsp
13 Salt - to taste

- Marinate paneer pieces with half of ginger- garlic paste, 1/2 Tbsp of kashmiri chilli powder, salt for 2 hours.
- Thread the paneer pieces onto skewers.
- Heat butter in a pan and roast paneer pieces on high flame till all masala covers the paneer pieces and water gets dried up from this.
- Heat oil in a pan and add onions. Sauté this for 2 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, green chillies and cook till tomatoes are soft and oil comes out from this.
- Cool and grind this to a smooth paste.
- Heat butter in a pan and add remaining ginger- garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes.
- Add all dry powders and roast this on low flame for 2 minutes. Take care not to burn the masala and butter.
- Add onion-tomato puree, kasoori methi, tomato sauce, fresh cream and mix well.
- Add roasted paneer pieces and adjust water according to the gravy we need.
- Cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
- Garnish with Butter or fresh cream.
- Serve hot with chapati, Naan or Tandoor roti.
