Potato Pakora / Aloo pakora

Ingredients

  1. Potato - 2 nos
  2. Besan / Gram flour - 2 cup
  3. Hing - 1/4 Tsp
  4. Red chili powder - 1 tsp
  5. Cumin powder - 1/4 Tsp
  6. Salt - to taste
  7. Oil - For frying
Preparation
  1. Slice the potatoes very thinly in rounds using a slicer or with a knife.
  2. Mix besan, hing, red chili powder, cumin powder, salt in a bowl.
  3. Add water required to make a semi- thick batter.
  4. Heat oil in a Kadai and dip each potato slice in the batter.
  5. Gently place in hot oil and fry until golden yellow.
  6. Serve hot with cilantro chutney or cup of tea.
