Chilli mushroom
Ingredients
- White mushroom - 250 g (chopped and sliced)
- Onion - 1 no (finely chopped)
- Capsicum - 1 no (finely chopped)
- Ginger - 1/4 tsp (chopped)
- Garlic - 1/4 tsp (chopped)
- Green chilly - 1 no (finely chopped)
- Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp (chopped)
- Spring onion green - 2 tbsp
- Soy sauce - 1 1/2 tbsp
- Red chili sauce - 1 tbsp
- Green chili sauce - 1/2 tbsp
- Vinegar - 1/2 tbsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Corn flour - 1 tbsp (dissolved in 2 tbsp of water )
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 2 tbsp
Preparation
- Heat oil in a kadhai and saute chopped onion for 2 minutes.
- Add ginger, garlic, capsicum and chilli to this and stir fry for a minute.
- Now add mushroom pieces and stir fry till the water comes out and reduce the size.
- Saute this mixture for about 5 minutes.
- Add soy sauce, red chilli sauce, vinegar and pepper powder.
- Adjust salt and add corinader leaves.
- Add water and let this mixture cooks on a medium flame.
- Add cornflour paste to this and stir continously so that no lumps are formed.
- When the gravy becomes thick, remove from heat.
- Garnish with spring onion greens.
- Serve hot with fried rice or chapati.
