Chicken Cutlet


 I love to make easy chicken cutlet because this is one of my favorite snacks. Nobody could ever resist when offered a plate of hot cutlets with tea.Serve them with tomato ketchup or chutney.

Ingredients 

  1. Boneless Chicken       - 1/2 kg
  2. Onion                          - 1 big
  3. Chopped ginger          - 1 tbsp
  4. Chopped green chili   - 2-3
  5. Potato                          - 1 boiled & mashed
  6. Pepper powder            - 1 teaspoon
  7. Red chili powder         - 1 tsp
  8. Garam Masala             - 1 teaspoon
  9. Bread crumbs               -1 cup
  10. Egg white                     - 2 nos
  11. Curry leaves                 - few
  12. Salt                               - to taste
  13. Oil                                 - for frying
Preparation
  1. Cook the chicken pieces with salt, pepper powder and red chili powder.
  2.  Saute onion till it becomes soft and translucent.
  3. Add chopped ginger, green chilies, and curry leaves, salt, pepper powder & garam masala. 
  4. After 1 minute, add minced chicken and mix well for 5 minutes.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool.Once it is cooled add mashed potatoes & mix well.
  6. Make small balls with the mixture & roll into desired shapes.
  7. Beat the egg white. Dip each cutlet in egg white & roll with bread crumbs. Deep fry in Oil.
  8. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
