Caramel Custard Pudding | Vanilla Pudding
Ingredients
1 Milk - 2 cups
2 Sugar - 1/2 cup
3 Egg - 5 nos.
4 Vanilla essence - 1 Tsp
5 Sugar for caramelising- 3 Tbsp
- Beat eggs with vanilla essence and sugar.
- Add beaten egg mixture to milk and mix well.
- Heat pudding tray and add 3 Tbsp of sugar to this.
- Take care to heat on low flame until the sugar caramelises.
- When the tray becomes cool, pour in the pudding mixture into it.
- Place some water in a steamer and one metal bowl upside down
- Over this, place the pudding tray to be steamed and cover it with a metal plate.
- Cover the steamer with a lid and cook for about 25 minutes.
- When its cool, refrigerate this.
- When its done, flip it upside down onto a serving plate.
