Tangy Spaghetti

Ingredients

  1. Spaghetti - 200 g
  2. Onion - 1 small(finely chopped)
  3. Garlic - 5 cloves (finely sliced)
  4. Soya sauce - 1 tsp
  5. Tomato sauce - 1 1/2 tbsp
  6. Chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp
  7. Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  8. Olive oil - 1 tbsp
  9. Salt - to taste
  10. Spring onion - For garnishing
Preparation 
  1. Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water, drain well and keep this aside.
  2. Heat oil in a thick-bottomed pan and add garlic.
  3. Cook this until soft but not brown.
  4. Add chopped onion and saute for 2 minutes.
  5. Add chilli flakes,  pepper powder, soya sauce and tomato sauce.
  6. Adjust salt as per taste and add cooked spaghetti.
  7. Toss well for 2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with spring onion.
