Masala Gobi Fry (Cauliflower Fry)
Masala Gobi Fry(Cauliflower Fry) serves as a good side dish for Rotis, Chapatis and rice.Cauliflower tastes good when cooked in the right way and is packed with various Minerals,Dietary fibre,Protiens and Vitamins.This is a dry version and if you need gravy,add coconut milk and cook until the masala thickens.Chop Cauliflower into florets or small cubes,according to your wish.But i chopped into smaller pieces because it gives a better texture than florets.

- Cauliflower - 1 Medium sized
- Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Onion - 1
- Tomato -1 small
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - As per taste
- Oil - 10 spoons
- Curry Leaves
- Coriander leaves - For Garnishing
- Heat oil in a pan , add cumin seeds,curry leaves and sauté just for a few seconds.
- Add onion and when it becomes transparent,add ginger-garlic paste.
- Saute until the raw smell leaves.
- Then add tomato and sauté for 2 minutes.
- When the oil starts to separate ,add all powders and stir well.
- After few seconds, add florets and close the pan with a lid.
- Cook on a low flame for 5 minutes,stir occasionally so that they do not stick to the bottom of the pan.
- Turn off the flame when the florets seems cooked.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
