Grilled Prawns

Ingredients

  1. Prawns - 300 g 
  2. Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
  3. Cumin seed powder - 1/2 tsp
  4. Ginger - garlic paste - 2 tbsp
  5. Vinegar - 1 tbsp
  6. Lemon juice - 1/2 a lemon 
  7. Sugar - a pinch
  8. Salt - to taste
  9. Oil - to aid grilling
Preparation
  1. Take a mixing bowl and place all ingredients except oil and lemon juice.
  2. Mix well to coat the masala all over prawns and keep this to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Soak the bamboo sticks in water to make the skewering easier.
  4. Thread three to four prawns on each stick depending upon the sizes of prawns.
  5. Take a baking tray and spray with any oil of your choice.
  6. Place the skewers on this and grill for 5 minutes on one side.
  7. Take this out and turn to grill the second side for 5 minutes.
  8. Heat an iron skillet and spray some oil.
  9. Place the half grilled prawn skewers on this hot skillet.
  10. Allow the masala to get dried by cooking for a minute on both sides.
  11. Squeeze on some lemon juice and serve hot with a dip of your choice.
